For both gasoline and diesel generators, routine maintenance is crucial for dependable performance, fuel efficiency, and system longevity. We offer detailed service packages based on engine runtime, following all OEM recommendations.

50-Hour Service

(Basic Inspection & Oil Change)

Typically performed after break-in period or regular light use.

Includes:

• Engine oil & filter replacement
• Visual inspection of fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems
• Battery condition & voltage check
• Belt condition & tension check
• Raw water strainer inspection (if applicable)
• Basic load check under onboard electrical demand
• Run test and startup behavior assessment

100-Hour Service

(Full Routine Maintenance)

Recommended for most seasonal use boats or every few months.

Includes everything in 50-hour, plus:

• Fuel filter(s) replacement (primary & secondary if diesel)
• Air filter cleaning or replacement
• Coolant level and condition check
• Raw water pump impeller inspection/replacement
• Inspection of hoses, clamps, and fittings
• Exhaust system check for leaks or restrictions
• Check for vibration, loose mounts, or abnormal engine noise
• Electrical inspection: output voltage, grounding, connections
• Record generator runtime hours and service log update

250-Hour Service

(Deep Component Inspection)

This is a more thorough service for medium- to heavy-use generators.

Includes everything in 100-hour, plus:

• Coolant flush and replacement (if required by OEM)
• Inspect and clean heat exchanger
• Valve clearance check/adjustment (diesel units)
• Re-torque cylinder head bolts (if specified)
• Check alternator bearings and brushes (if accessible)
• Fuel system pressure check
• Replace thermostat (optional depending on engine condition)
• Full electrical system inspection (breakers, control panel)

500-Hour Service

(Major Preventive Service)

This interval typically includes full system refurbishment tasks.

Includes everything in 250-hour, plus:

• Raw water pump removal & full rebuild (seal, impeller, housing)
• Fuel injector inspection/testing (diesel units)
• Crankcase breather service
• Replace engine mounts if worn
• Remove & clean exhaust elbow / mixing elbow
• Load bank testing under simulated electrical load
• Full wiring harness and control system diagnostics
• Clean/replace ignition components (gasoline generators)

1,000-Hour Service

(Complete Overhaul & Reliability Service)

Ideal for high-use vessels, liveaboards, or commercial vessels.

Includes everything in 500-hour, plus:

• Heat exchanger removal and chemical cleaning
• Aftercooler/core removal and cleaning (if equipped)
• Injector removal and professional bench testing
• Cylinder compression or leak-down test
• Starter and alternator removal/testing or replacement
• Oil cooler flush
• Detailed engine health report provided
